Accommodations

Albright Manor provides living accommodations in private, semi-private and basic accommodations.

• A Private room consists of one entrance into a single room with a private bathroom.
• A Semi-Private room consists of one entrance into a single room with a shared bathroom.  The room is considered private, but the bathroom has two access doors, with one being from the neighbour’s room.
• A Basic room consists of one entrance separating into two separate rooms divided by a partial floor to ceiling wall with a shared bathroom.  Each separate room is occupied by 1 person.  With the Basic accommodation, a resident with low income may apply for a Ministry Rate Reduction. 

Resident rooms are completely furnished with an electric bed, night stand, dresser, wardrobe and chair.  All resident rooms have a large picture window. Bedding, linens, towels, toiletries and incontinent products are provided by the home.

Residents are encouraged to make their room as comfortable as possible with their personal effects such as pictures/memorabilia, afghan, plants.  We do not encourage additional personal furniture for mobility/safety reasons, other than a recliner or lift chair.

Clothing is laundered and labelled by our Housekeeping Department at no extra cost.

Meals are provided in the home area dining room.  The menu is offered on a three-week cycle for spring/summer and fall/winter seasons, with alternate choices and special diet needs.  Snacks and beverages are offered between meals.

The bathing rooms are separate from the resident’s rooms and baths/showers are provided as per ministry standards.

Medications are ordered under the direction of the home physician and dispensed by Registered Nursing staff.

Telephone, Cable and Internet can be arranged and are at the expense of the resident.

Pricing for accommodations is regulated by the Ministry of Long-Term Care.  Accommodation fees are paid by the resident through Preauthorized Payment on a monthly basis.
